Meet Lesley and Chris Bettinson owners of Dawel Nos Glamping. 

We bought Glascoed Bach small holding back in April 2001 and moved in with our 2 sons where we had horses and a pig called Truffles.

 

We eventually gave up with the animals as our sons got older and had their own lives.

Lesley started her own crafts and embroidery business back in 2017 and Chris enjoys helping his sons out and pottering around vintage vehicles.  

All the curtains and cushion in The Bus are made by Lesley.

In November 2020 we bought a labrador called Bob and he goes with us everywhere and that's why we wanted to make this a dog friendly glamping site as we know how  dogs like to enjoy holidays to.

 

In January this year 2022 we made the decision to open a glamping site and bought a Double Decker bus. Yes I know it sounded a bit crazy but we enjoy a challenge and wanted to offer something different. 

We are very lucky here the views are just amazing and the peacefulness of the place its just a little peace of heave in West Wales. 

We are very lucky where we are located, near beautiful beaches and so much to do for the family. We have some lovely walking paths near by. Some great eating places.

How did we come up with the name, well we was standing in the field one night and there wasn't a sound around us and it just came to us Dawel Nos Dan y Ser

(silent night under the stars) but Dawel Nos for short.

We just love it here the views, how peaceful it is, the night sky full of stars when its a clear night and we just wanted to share it with our guests.
